About the Role
We are seeking experienced Bench Joiners to join our workshop team. The successful candidates will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality joinery products, including doors, windows, cabinets, and bespoke timber components, in accordance with technical drawings and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture joinery products from technical drawings and cutting lists
- Operate workshop machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Assemble, fit, and finish timber components to a high standard
- Work with a variety of materials, including hardwoods, softwoods, and sheet materials
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
- Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to meet production deadlines
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and company standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bench Joiner or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery and hand tools
- High attention to detail and quality of workmanship
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications or apprenticeship (preferred but not essential)
