Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Car Spares Retail Customer Service and Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service within our retail outlet and ensuring timely delivery of car spares to clients. The ideal candidate will be organised, communicative, and capable of managing multiple tasks . Duties
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate car spares, offering expert advice and support.
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and maintain organised records.
- Manage stock levels, organise displays, and ensure the retail area remains tidy and inviting.
- Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Prepare orders for delivery, ensuring all items are correctly packed and documented.
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver car spares to customers within designated areas, adhering to traffic regulations and safety protocols.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on delivery vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, returns, and stock movements using Microsoft Excel or similar software.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout all interactions, fostering positive relationships with clients.
Skills
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for communicating effectively with a diverse clientele.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for maintaining accurate records of sales, deliveries, and stock levels.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy retail environment.
- Good maintenance knowledge for basic vehicle upkeep and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Ability to demonstrate effective phone etiquette when liaising with customers over the phone.
- Customer-focused attitude with the ability to resolve queries promptly and courteously.
- Organised approach to stock management and delivery schedules to ensure timely service.
