About the role:
We are seeking 2 Waking Night Support Workers to provide care, support, and supervision to individuals during the night. The role involves promoting safety, wellbeing, independence, and dignity while ensuring the people receive appropriate support throughout the night. You will remain awake throughout the shift to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and comfort for the people and respond appropriately to any support needs or emergencies.
The focus of the role includes:
- Provide person-centred care and support during night shifts.
- Carry out regular welfare and safety checks.
- Support individuals with personal care needs, including toileting, dressing, and mobility assistance where required.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and comfortable environment.
- Complete accurate records, incident reports, and handover notes.
- Undertake light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
Hours:
2 part time waking night positions available at 31 hours per week.
We are also looking to gain more bank support workers. 0 hour contracts with a wide variety of hours and shifts available.
Shifts are from 7:30 am - 2:30 pm or 2:30/3:00 pm - 10:00 pm and sleep-in shifts
Location: Gravesend – parking available.
