At Lifeways Group, one of the UKs leading providers of support services for adults with learning disabilities, were looking for a passionate and experienced Team Leader to join our supported living service in Prudhoe.
As Team Leader, youll work closely with the Service Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements. Youll supervise and support a dedicated team of Support Workers, helping them deliver person-centred care that promotes independence and wellbeing.
- Support and supervise the delivery of person-centred services
- Assist with rota planning and timesheet accuracy
- Promote health and safety for both service users and staff
- Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing of all individuals supported
- Continuously develop your own practice and contribute to service improvement
- Provide supervision and guidance to Support Workers
- Essential: NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within social care
- Flexible approach and willingness to participate in a 24-hour on-call rota
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
