The Role
We are seeking an experienced Bodyshop Parts Manager to join a busy accident repair centre.
You will be responsible for managing all parts operations, ensuring parts are sourced, ordered, received, and distributed efficiently to support repair schedules and maximise workshop productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Bodyshop parts department.
- Source and order OEM and aftermarket parts.
- Control stock levels, returns, and credits.
- Build relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Ensure parts availability aligns with repair schedules.
- Minimise vehicle repair delays.
- Monitor margins and departmental profitability.
- Support estimators, technicians, and workshop management.
- Lead and develop parts personnel where applicable.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive parts management.
- Bodyshop or accident repair experience preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturer parts systems.
- Strong stock control and supplier negotiation skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
- Full UK driving licence.
