About the Role
We are looking for a positive, approachable, communicative and organised Resourcing Assistant to join our team.
You will provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support across the business. The role helps ensure that people, equipment, suppliers and project information are organised effectively, enabling our technical and operational teams to work efficiently.
It is a varied, office-based position covering resourcing, job setup, purchasing and purchase orders, supplier records, reception and telephone enquiries, data entry, credit-control support, social media and content creation.
Priorities can change quickly, so the role requires close communication with colleagues across the business and a flexible approach to supporting different teams as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day allocation and coordination of people, equipment, subcontractors and other resources across projects.

Assist with setting up new jobs and ensure project information is entered accurately into company systems.

Maintain and update the Approved Supplier List (ASL), supplier records and other operational databases.

Raise and process purchase orders, place approved orders and liaise with suppliers regarding availability, delivery and documentation.

Provide general administrative support, including accurate data entry, document preparation, filing, scanning and maintaining records.

Answer incoming telephone calls, provide reception cover, welcome visitors and direct enquiries promptly and professionally.

Monitor and respond to general enquiries, directing technical or commercial matters to the appropriate person.

Help prepare and schedule company social media posts in line with agreed branding, tone and approval processes.

Complete routine website updates and help keep company information, news and vacancies current.

Undertake other reasonable administrative and resourcing duties appropriate to the role and business needs.
Skills and Experience

Good office and IT literacy, including confident use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Accurate data-entry, record-keeping and general administrative skills.

Good written English and the ability to prepare clear, professional emails and short social media content.

Confident and courteous telephone manner, with good customer-service skills.

Ability to plan and prioritise work, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy during busy periods.

Discretion when handling financial, employee, client and commercially sensitive information.

Previous experience in administration, resourcing, reception, purchasing, accounts support or social media and design would be advantageous but not essential.
