We are seeking a skilled Part 2 Scaffolder with a full UK driving licence (cars/3.5 tonne) to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for erecting, dismantling, and maintaining scaffolding structures on various sites across. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction-related trades to utilise their expertise in a professional environment. Applicants must be organised, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient project completion.
Responsibilities
- Erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety standards and project specifications
- Conduct routine inspections of scaffolding to identify potential hazards or defects
- Ensure all scaffolding is secure and stable throughout the duration of the project
- Assist with site preparation, including loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Collaborate closely with other trades such as carpenters, roofers, and electricians to facilitate seamless workflow
- Maintain accurate records of scaffolding layouts and modifications as required
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to minimise risk on site
Experience
- Proven experience as a Part 2 Scaffolder within the construction industry
- Full UK driving licence (cars/3.5 tonne) is essential
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations governing scaffolding work
- Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment related to scaffolding assembly
- Additional skills in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work are highly desirable
- Familiarity with site-specific requirements such as site logistics and material handling
