Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for guest service, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of staff to ensure exceptional guest service and operational efficiency.
- Lead and motivate team members, fostering a positive work environment aligned with organisational standards.
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Oversee reservations, check-in/check-out procedures, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in training new staff members and conducting performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with human resources on staffing requirements, scheduling, and staff development initiatives.
- Monitor financial transactions, including billing and cash handling procedures.
- Ensure the cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the premises meet standards at all times.
- Maintain effective communication between departments to facilitate seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills.
- Exceptional guest service skills with a professional demeanour.
- Experience in human resources management or staff development is advantageous.
- Knowledge of hospitality operations, including reservations systems and health & safety standards.
