We're looking for a Senior Planner to join our Chiswell Office team based in London and the Thames Valley area.
Location: Site Based / Chiswell Office, London and Thames Valley
Hours: 40 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Based in our Chiswell Office, you'll be working across multiple sites within the London and Thames Valley area. As a Senior Planner, you'll collaborate with our Pre Construction and Construction Delivery Teams, offering planning expertise on exciting projects ranging from £5M to over £100M in value across Health & Science, Residential, Commercial, Education, and Custodial sectors.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Planner, you'll be working within the Planning Department team, supporting them in achieving successful delivery across multiple projects. Your day to day will include:
- Producing and managing fully integrated programmes incorporating all disciplines, with time risk allowances and agreement with trade packages
- Creating and monitoring tender event schedules, procurement schedules, site logistics, and scaffold schedules
- Contributing to weekly project team progress reports and producing monthly client progressed programmes
- Liaising with sub-contractors, conducting regular site visits, and assessing progress independently
- Forecasting programme scenarios, developing mitigation strategies, and advising project teams on planning expertise
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Planner is great for you if:
- You have construction planning experience in a main contractor environment on projects between £5M - £100M+ in value
- You hold a construction related academic qualification (BSc, HNC/D etc.)
- You're an experienced user of Asta Powerproject and familiar with planning techniques and toolsets
- You have proven understanding of construction methods, plant, equipment and labour requirements, plus experience with NEC and JCT forms of contract
- You can manage your own workload effectively and hold a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card
