We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning, socialisation, and development.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Support children's emotional and behavioural development by providing consistent guidance and encouragement.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines.
- Assist with organising nursery routines, including meal times, nap times, and play schedules.
- Contribute to the organisation of nursery events and activities that enhance children's learning experiences.
- Uphold nursery policies and procedures in line with regulatory standards.
- Support new staff members through mentoring and sharing best practices in childcare management.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting.
- Strong management and leadership skills to oversee daily nursery operations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and nurturing qualities essential for working with young children.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or supplies when necessary.
- A recognised qualification in childcare or early childhood education is preferred.

Pay: £24,420.00-£32,000.00 per year
