As a Costs Draftsperson, you'll play a key role in maximising costs recovery and supporting fee earners across the business. Your responsibilities will include:

Drafting Bills of Costs, Points of Dispute, and Replies

Preparing both fixed costs and multi-track bills

Negotiating settlements with opponents and insurers

Assisting with detailed assessment proceedings

Advising fee earners on costs strategy and recovery

Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with CPR requirements

Previous experience in a legal costs role

Strong knowledge of CPR and costs procedures

Excellent drafting and negotiation skills

Ability to manage a varied workload independently

Strong organisational and communication skills

Experience in personal injury or civil litigation (desirable)
