Cook / Chef – Part-Time Cover
We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Cook/Chef to join our team, providing cover across The New Inn and The Black Horse when required.
This is a zero-hours role with guaranteed hours each week, typically a couple of days per week, with additional hours available for holiday, sickness and busy periods. Split shifts will be required.
Duties
- Preparing, cooking and presenting food to a good standard
- Running/supporting kitchen service when covering the main chef
- Following menus, recipes and portion guidelines
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
- Stock rotation and helping to minimise waste
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly
We’re looking for someone experienced, reliable and flexible, who is confident working independently as well as part of a team.
Location: Split between The New Inn & The Black Horse
Hours: Guaranteed weekly hours
Shifts: Typically a couple of days per week – split shifts will be required
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
