Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. Responsibilities
- Support the store manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth business functions
- Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Manage merchandising displays to optimize product visibility and maximize sales opportunities
- Handle customer enquiries professionally via phone and in person, demonstrating exemplary phone etiquette and communication skills
- Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and ensure accurate record keeping
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Contribute to maintaining a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork and organisational efficiency
Requirements
- Proven management or supervisory experience within retail or related sectors
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and time management abilities
- Effective communication skills; bilingual or multilingual proficiency is advantageous
- Experience in merchandising, sales management, or administrative roles preferred
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills with professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
