About Joblogic
Established in 1998, Joblogic is a fast-growing, UK-based SaaS company headquartered in Birmingham, with offices in London, Pakistan and Vietnam. We're an industry leader in field service management software — helping businesses in FM, electrical, plumbing and heating to streamline their operations, ensure compliance and drive rapid growth.
The role
We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Analyst to join our IT team on-site in Birmingham. This is a hands-on, broad-ranging role split fairly evenly between owning the infrastructure that keeps Joblogic running and being the visible, go-to person for the colleagues who rely on it day to day.
You'll take real ownership — leading infrastructure projects end to end, making architecture decisions and setting the standard for reliable, secure and scalable systems as the business continues to grow, while providing responsive support to users across our Birmingham office and global teams.
What you'll be doing
Infrastructure & systems
- Own the design, planning and implementation of core IT infrastructure, servers, storage, networking equipment and cloud platforms, to meet evolving business needs.
- Manage and maintain servers, operating systems and applications across different environments
- Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and availability.
- Configure and maintain network devices to ensure secure, efficient communication.
- Implement and enforce security policies, backups and disaster recovery procedures to protect infrastructure and data and ensure business continuity.
- Manage local and cloud infrastructure to optimise resource utilisation and scalability.
- Lead projects end to end, making architecture decisions, forecasting capacity and coordinating external vendors and service providers.
- Keep documentation accurate and up to date, and report regularly on system performance and health.
End-user support
- Act as an escalation point for local issues across the Birmingham office and supporting global teams.
- Set up and provision hardware and software for new joiners and manage the IT asset lifecycle.
- Respond to incidents promptly, troubleshoot issues and follow up with resolutions.
- Help colleagues get the most from their tools, and improve support processes, documentation and knowledge as the team grows.
What we're looking for
- Several years' hands-on experience in an IT infrastructure engineer, analyst, specialist or administrator role, ready to step up to a more senior position.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware and network security.
- Solid server administration experience.
- Practical experience with local and cloud platforms.
- Confident owning and running projects.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A clear communicator who is comfortable with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Able to manage your own workload, juggle multiple priorities and work independently.
Nice to have
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, MCSA, MCSE or equivalent.
- Experience with DevOps practices and automation tools.
- Experience in M&A work.
What we offer
- A competitive salary, depending on experience.
- On-site working from our Birmingham headquarters.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
- A genuine opportunity to grow with a fast-scaling, PE-backed SaaS business.
- A collaborative, ambitious team where your work makes a real difference.
- Access to training and professional development to support your career progression.
