About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Yard Operative to join our busy waste management team. As a yard operative, you’ll play an essential role in helping to sort and process materials in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sorting recyclable and non-recyclable materials on-site
- Ensuring materials are properly separated according to type (e.g., metal, wood, plastic)
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the yard area
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
- Reporting any hazards or incidents to the site supervisor
Requirements:
- Physically fit
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
