Part Time Supervisor – Marco’s Leisure Ltd Site : Marco’s Pool Hall and Karaoke Bar, 79 Grove Street Edinburgh We are now recruiting for a Supervisor to help within our busy Licensed Leisure Venue in Edinburgh. Marco’s Pool Hall has 18 American Pool Tables, Karaoke Room, Retro Gaming Stations, dart boards, Stone Baked Pizza Kitchen, recently refurbished bar and lounge area, Live sports and Jukebox. The venue is based on Grove Street near Haymarket.
The candidate will be required to help run our operation smoothly, serving and dealing with customers and helping us achieve a high level of service.
They will be required to open and close the premises ensuring that the building is secure, ensure all checklists for service and operations are complete, all health and safety measures are met and also cash up at the end of the evening.
The candidate should have a Bar personal Licence, good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and have at least 2 years’ experience of being behind a busy bar or working in a licensed leisure venue. Experience in making cocktails, training staff and managing stock are essential, they should be flexible, have an eye for detail, and be willing to work evenings and weekends. Shifts would include evenings, and day shifts spread over a 7-day period covering around 25 plus hours a week. Latest closing time of the Venue is 1am on a Friday and Saturday, 12am on other nights.
