Sushi Chef / Food Preparation Team Member (Across Two Panku Sushi)
Salary: £12.50 – £15.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Minimum 20 hours per week with one location, with the opportunity for additional hours at a second location, up to approximately 40 hours per week in total.
Locations: Edinburgh
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic team member to work across two busy Panku Sushi kiosks located within ASDA stores in Edinburgh.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with sushi experience, food preparation experience, or simply a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
About the Role
You will be involved in the day-to-day operation of the kiosks, including:
- Preparing sushi and other food products to brand standards
- Food preparation and kitchen duties
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and food safety standards
- Stock rotation and inventory checks
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures
- Providing excellent customer service when required
- Working as part of a small, friendly team
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- High standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
- Ability to travel between locations if required
Desirable but Not Essential:
- Previous sushi preparation experience
- Previous kitchen, catering or food production experience
- Food Hygiene Certificate
Full training can be provided to the right candidate.
