Responsibilities
- Safely operate flatbed trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver products across designated routes
- Load, secure, and unload cargo with attention to safety and efficiency
- Verify delivery orders, obtain signatures, and ensure all paperwork is accurately completed
- Navigate using GPS or maps to reach delivery destinations promptly
- Maintain communication with dispatchers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to uphold safety and professionalism at all times
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed or commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo and securing loads on flatbeds
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Flexibility to work varied hours based on delivery schedules
