Fitzrovia Hospital is an acute private hospital with a clinical trials unit that specialises in asthma, allergy and COPD. The hospital also provides outpatient services for private patients in the respiratory area.
Queen Anne Street Medical Centre (QASMC) recently acquired Fitzrovia Hospital, located at 13-14 Fitzroy Square, London and is currently expanding. We are currently recruiting a Senior HR Administrator to undertake all HR, day to day responsibilities and administration. This role will involve dealing with external clients such as recruitment agencies and pension providers as well as assisting employees and management in all HR related matters.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Providing generalist HR support and advice to circa 50 employees across Queen Anne Street Medical Centre.
- Managing practicing privileges for all medical consultants that work with the Hospital and QASMC and ensure all consultants meet the regulatory standards set by organizations like the Care Quality Commission and hospital boards
- Manage end to end recruitment cycle, including shortlisting candidates, arranging and attending interviews, carrying out pre-recruitment checks and drafting contracts in line with the terms of the offer.
- Employee Lifecycle & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end joiner and leaver processes, draft employment contracts, and conduct new-hire inductions.
- Process monthly payroll inputs, including data collection and verification and work with our finance team to ensure all information is accurate.
- Timesheet Management: Collecting, tracking, and verifying hours worked, overtime, and absences from managers or automated time-tracking systems.
- When required, provide support on all employee relation matters serving as the first point of contact for employee queries, and assist HR Business Partners with case management, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and employee rights.
- Process Improvement: Proactively audit HR paper and electronic files and enhance administrative workflows across the business and providing advice and support on people-related policies and procedures
- Updating HR related policies and procedures and all employee training records in line with updated employment legislation.
- HRIS & Data Management: Providing guidance to ensure managers record all employee absence (annual leave, sickness, unpaid leave, maternity leave etc.) ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance
- Providing administrative support to the Commercial Director & Medical Director.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on HR metrics such as turnover, attendance, and training.
- To carry out adhoc duties as requested.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Generalist HR Experience - This is a standalone position, and the post holder will be the sole HR and Payroll contact for the organisation
- Able to work alone with minimal supervision
- Pragmatic and prepared to “roll sleeves up” where necessary
- Experience in dealing with a diverse population
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must have excellent MS Office
- CIPD qualified / part qualified is an advantage
- Knowledge and experience of pension schemes
