Job Description
Duties/Responsibilities
- Greet visitors to the premises.
- Advise customers on products.
- Prepare orders for collection and load delivery vehicles with forklift truck.
- Check in deliveries of stock.
- Maintain an accurate record of stock.
- Liaise with the office to provide a smooth customer sales process.
- Maintain a tidy and organised yard.
- Manual Labour
- Other duties as required by the business from time to time.
Person Specification
Essential
- Willing to carry out physical work, including heavy lifting.
- Confident and polite manner.
- Attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Willing to work outdoors in all conditions
- Ability to be flexible in line with the needs of the business.
- Keep up in a busy and fast pace environment.
Preferable
- Experience within a builder’s yard or similar environment
- Fork truck experience
- Full clean driving licence
