Title: Oracle Account Manager
Location: Harrogate/Hybrid
Job Description: You will be tasked with identifying opportunities within some existing customers to sell Oracle solutions (on premise & Cloud) in combination with Vertice’s Expert & Managed Services. Most of the business that you generate will be via new business so you won’t be afraid to qualify opportunities within “cold” companies (existing Oracle users but new to Vertice). You will be responsible for the complete sales cycle and you will have a defined process that enables you to be successful (identification, positioning, nurturing, negotiating, closing and on-going account management for upsell/cross sell). You will have monthly targets to achieve and will be given 3 months to get up to speed with the role and build a sustainable pipeline for continued success. You will use your network of contacts within Oracle to develop new opportunities and campaigns for yourself to further improve your pipeline.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for targeting existing customers to identify upsell and cross sell opportunities
Responsible for targeting known Oracle users, who are not yet Vertice customers, to identify opportunities to sell our unique services
Responsible for the complete lifecycle of the sale – profiling, qualification, pitching, proposing, nurturing, negotiating and closing.
Responsible for on-going account management of your customers
Achieve month on month sales targets and continue to “grow your number”
Key Skills and Competencies:
At least 5 years sales experience in the Oracle ecosphere (Software licenses, Cloud, Expert Services, Managed Services, Hardware)
Proven to be successful in the role and can demonstrate this via target to earnings
Strong sales acumen, with a defined process to sell successfully
Articulate - both orally and in written communication
Decisive, focussed and resilient in nature
Proactive pipeline stage management
