Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service to contribute to a welcoming environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive first impression, ensuring guests receive exceptional service, and supporting the smooth operation of our establishment. Prior experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. A background in food safety and food preparation is desirable to uphold our high standards.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Handle customer enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly
- Support barista duties if applicable, including preparing specialised coffee drinks
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Manage cash register operations and process payments accurately
- Uphold a professional appearance and behaviour at all times
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in food preparation or restaurant service is advantageous
- Barista experience is a plus but not essential
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends if required
- A personable attitude with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
