Midday Supervisor – Walney School

Salary: FET Scale 3 £12.85 per hour
Part time (7.5 hours per week), term time only 38 weeks
Due to growth Furness Education Trust are looking for a Midday Supervisor to oversee the smooth running of activities and the well-being of all students during lunchtime. This role will be based at Walney School. Furness Education comprises of seven schools, two secondary and five primary schools, Walney School, Furness Academy, Yarlside Academy, Victoria Academy, Parkside Academy, Lindal and Marton Primary School and Newton Village Academy.

You will:
- Supervise students in the dining hall, courtyard and other parts of the school.
- Clean up spillages.
- Help set up the dining area in preparation for the students entering.
- Help to clear away food and stack tables and chairs after students have left the dining hall.
- Ensure students keep out of areas which are out of bounds and do not leave the premises in accordance with the school policy.
- Deal with any incidents of misbehavior and report any problems which you are unable to resolve.
- Tend to students who are sick or injured, ensuring they receive appropriate medical attention and report serious accidents.
