Due to a strong order book we are seeking to recruit the following full time position based at our workshop near Sevenoaks. Own transport is essential.
Position: Cabinet Maker, with a commitment to craftsmanship, accuracy and safety and a couple of years experience
Role: You will be manufacturing bespoke cabinetry and fitted furniture as part of the Workshop Team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in woodworking and joinery, with the ability to fabricate and assemble high-quality cabinetry.
This role involves the finishing of bespoke cabinetry such as hanging doors, fitting frames, installing fixtures & fittings along with checking and inspecting work to ensure it meets specification. Working with a range of woods using a variety of handheld power tools and woodworking machinery.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-years proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar.
- Proficiency and confidence in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, and drills.
- A strong understanding of joinery techniques and principles.
- Ability to set up and use woodworking machinery.
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and efficiently.
- You will have the ability to work well independently and as part of the workshop team
- To be able to read drawings and work to precise specifications
- To have pride in your work and our kitchens.
