Occupational Health Technician - Newcastle upon Tyne (with travel across the North East)

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Occupational Health Technician to join our client’s friendly clinical team. This is a hands-on role supporting the delivery of high-quality occupational health services across clinic sites, client locations, and a mobile unit.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering health surveillance in line with HSE guidelines
- Carrying out fitness-for-work and safety-critical assessments
- Completing new starter health screenings
- Conducting tests such as audiometry, spirometry, vision screening, blood pressure, and drug & alcohol testing
- Supporting medicals (e.g. rail, driver, offshore)
- Travelling to client sites and occasionally staying away (planned in advance)
- Keeping accurate, confidential clinical records
What we’re looking for:
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Good IT and record-keeping skills
- Strong communication and a professional approach
- Previous occupational health experience is helpful but not essential
