Ecommerce Customer Service – Retail Online Food – IMMEDIATE START
Retail Food Background preferred.
Responsibilities
Proactive customer contact.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve their issues via email, phone, or livechat.
Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, and processing replacement, substitutions, refunds.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
Handle complaints, concerns, listen to customers
Identify and escalate complex issues to senior staff.
Keep customers updated about delivery issues, out of stock items etc.
Package and despatch daily nationwide deliveries
When necessary help with packaging local deliveries
Assign daily local deliveries to our team of drivers – using Max Optra (training will be given)
First point of contact for our delivery drivers when they need assistance making a delivery
Phone customers to remind them about their scheduled delivery
Meet and exceed customer satisfaction goals.
Learn about the company’s products and services to deliver a consistent service.
Ensure online condiments are fully stocked
Preparation of delivery packs
- Assist the Office Manager and Online Manager when required
- Distribute Food Safety Records to all locations
-Any other tasks deemed necessary for the role
Requirements
Prior Ecommerce Customer Service experience preferred
Fluent in English with Excellent phone/email communication skills
Proficient in using various softwares, ecommerce softwares are a bonus but training will be given
Ability to handle high volume customer interactions
Ability to handle difficult customers with a calm manner
Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
Enjoy working in a ‘hands-on’ role as part of a wider team
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Effective time management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
Detail-oriented and accurate data entry
This is a hands on and at times very fast paced job which will require the successful candidate to demonstrate a proactive willingness to work as part of a larger team to deliver a consistent customer experience and service. You will need to have the ability to remember and juggle various tasks and ensure that they are all completed and resolved satisfactorily. You will need to be able to prioritise and enjoy multi-tasking. Live within easy commuting distance to London SW6 4TJ.
The hours of work are Tuesday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Saturday 8.30am to 3.00pm.

Pay: £28,000 to £30,000.00 per year – depending on experience
