Hunter Construction Aberdeen Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Contracts Manager to join our growing team in Inverurie
This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with strong project delivery, leadership, and commercial management experience to play a key role in delivering high-quality construction projects across mainly the North East of Scotland
The Role
As Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, site teams, and senior management to coordinate operations, manage contracts, and maintain strong commercial performance across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee multiple construction projects
- Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Monitor programmes, budgets, and project delivery
- Manage contracts including JCT and NEC forms
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Monitor commercial performance and project profitability
- Resolve operational and contractual issues effectively
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and project delivery
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Strong commercial awareness and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- SMSTS and CSCS certification preferred
- Full UK driving licence required
