Joiner / Multiskilled Tradesperson, Leeds
£30-35k per year, depending on experience | Full-time | Leeds and surrounding area
Wrapt Homes is a Leeds-based retrofit company on a mission to tackle climate change, unhealthy homes, and fuel poverty. We work with private and social homeowners to get their homes net zero ready, using natural and breathable materials like wood fibre insulation, hemp, and lime.
We're looking for a Joiner or Multiskilled Tradesperson, someone with strong practical joinery skills who's ready to help lead a small site team and take ownership of quality on some genuinely interesting, technical projects.
What you'll be doing:
- Working with specialist materials, including wood fibre insulation, lime, airtightness tapes and membranes
- Core joinery: fitting doors, skirting, flooring, kitchens, and architraves
- Leading and organising a small team, helping manage the day to day work programme
- Keeping a clean, organised, safe work environment
- Quality checking your own and others' work, including overseeing third party trades
- Championing attention to detail, since precision matters more here than in standard construction, as airtightness and moisture control depend on it
What we're looking for:
- Proven joinery experience (time served or equivalent)
- Comfortable taking the lead on site and organising a small team
- Experience with, or a genuine interest in, natural/eco building materials
- A keen eye for detail and pride in getting the finish right
- Full UK driving licence (if travel to sites is required, adjust as needed)
