UAVTEK is a UK designer and manufacturer of advanced unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and counter-drone technologies, supplying defence, government and commercial customers around the world.
We are looking for enthusiastic school leavers, college students and university students to join our engineering and production team during holiday periods. Whether you're considering a career in engineering or already studying a STEM subject, this is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers on real-world products.
No previous drone experience is required—we're looking for people with enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and a practical mindset.
Your Responsibilities
Depending on your experience, you may be involved in:
- Assembly of UAV and electronic systems
- Preparing parts and kits for production
- Quality inspection and functional testing
- Packaging and dispatch of customer orders
- Stock management and workshop organisation
- Supporting production engineers with day-to-day manufacturing
- Assisting with engineering development and prototype builds
Students with relevant experience may also have opportunities to assist with:
- Electronics assembly and soldering
- 3D printing and additive manufacturing
- CAD and design work
- Product testing and validation
- Flight test preparation and support
- Research and development projects

Essential Requirements
- Aged 16 or over
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Able to travel to our workshop near Northleach, Gloucestershire
Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
