Job Description: Rosewood Garage PVT Ltd is looking for a motivated and highly skilled MOT Tester to help us maintain our excellent reputation for delivering reliable and efficient MOT testing services to our clients. As an MOT Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and roadworthiness of our customers' vehicles while adhering to all industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough and accurate MOT testing on a wide range of vehicles, including cars and light commercial vehicles.
- Conduct inspections to assess vehicle safety, emissions, and overall roadworthiness.
- Identify and report any defects or issues, providing clear and precise documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with current regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance.
- Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to carry out MOT tests effectively.
- Communicate test results and any necessary repairs to vehicle owners in a professional and informative manner.
- Assist with general vehicle maintenance and repairs as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Uphold a strong commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
- Valid and current MOT Tester certification (Class 4 and/or Class 7).
- Proven experience as an MOT Tester in an automotive garage or service center.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, components, and safety standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform accurate assessments.
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to professional development.
- Knowledge of current industry regulations and safety standards.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
