So, what is the role?
We are seeking a HR & Training Administrator to join our HR team at our Wigton site.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide administrative and coordination support across a wide range of HR, training and compliance activities. You will play a key role in supporting the implementation of our Training & Competence Framework, helping to ensure employees have the skills, knowledge and support required to perform their roles effectively.
The role will support training administration, competency management, employee records, recruitment activities, compliance reporting and administration of our BRIDGE system.

Responsibilities of the role include:
- Coordinate internal and external training activities across the business.
- Maintain training records, competency records and training matrices.
- Monitor and report on mandatory training requirements and renewal dates.
- Support the administration of BRIDGE, including policy acknowledgements, training records and competency documentation.
- Assist with recruitment activities, onboarding and pre-employment checks.
- Prepare HR documentation, including contracts, offer letters, amendments and general employee correspondence.
- Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files in accordance with GDPR requirements.
- Provide administrative support for employee relations activities
- Assist with Occupational Health and Health Surveillance administration.
- Produce HR and training reports to support business decision-making and compliance requirements.
- Provide support and cover for key Business Support activities during periods of annual leave or absence.
- Support the continuous improvement of HR, training and business processes.
- Assist with the delivery of HR projects and People Strategy initiatives.

Essential Knowledge / Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
Desirable Knowledge / Qualifications
- Experience within a HR, Training, Compliance or Business Administration environment.
- Experience maintaining records, databases or compliance documentation.
- Experience using HR systems, Learning Management Systems or document management systems.
- CIPD Level 3 qualification
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Training and development will be provided to support the successful candidate.
