We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting young children's development and learning within a nurturing environment. Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years
- Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through nurturing interactions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education are consistently met
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and team members regarding children's progress and wellbeing
- Lead small groups of children during activities.
- Assist in organising daily routines such as mealtimes, naps, and play sessions
- Contribute to the ongoing assessment and documentation of children's development milestones
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting (nursery experience preferred)
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment whilst demonstrating initiative.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their early learning journey
- Relevant childcare qualifications or early childhood .

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£13.25 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
