We are seeking a Chef de Partie to join our professional culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications and recipes, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Assist in the organisation of ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your designated section, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals.
- Monitor stock levels within your section and communicate needs for replenishment.
- Ensure all food prepared meets health and safety standards, including proper storage and handling procedures.
- Ensure dishwashing area is kept clean and tidy in absence of a kitchen porter.
Experience
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hotel setting. Open to applications with no to little experience.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary presentation.
- Experience with meal preparation is desirable.
- Familiarity with food safety procedures and regulations is desirable.
- Previous experience working in a busy restaurant environment is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay: £13.00 per hour
