About us:
Little Street is an award winning play centre for young children, themed as a miniature version of a typical town, inspiring children to explore life in the world around them. Open 7 days a week, our leisure facilities provide a fun and educational play environment for children and their parents/carers. We have a small cafe onsite serving drinks and pre packaged snacks.
The role:
We are currently looking to recruit a part time Play Centre Assistant to work 8 - 16 hours per week. This includes weekend working.
It's an ideal role for someone looking to work around college hours, or other part time commitments.
Key responsibilities:
1. Meeting and greeting customers.
2. Taking food & drinks orders / making and serving hot drinks.
3. Overseeing play and tidying the play rooms.
4. Cleaning duties.
5. Preparing for and assisting during birthday parties.
Skills & experience required:
· Good customer service skills.
· Enthusiastic about working in child centred environment.
· Works well under pressure.
· Displays ability to use own initiative.
· Responsible and reliable.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
Work Location: In person
