Kanadevia Management Services UK Limited are seeking a candidate with good hands on mechanical experience to join our company as a Biogas Lead Operator.
The successful candidate will join as part of an operations team running the latest in Anaerobic digestion bioenergy plants in Dumfries.
Duties would include running the maintenance systems on site, ensuring the consistent and efficient operation of the plant, a wide range of problem solving as well as supporting specialist contractors in the upkeep of industry specific technologies.
The candidate must be able to adapt to a flexible work schedule and also commit to an on-call work rota. Out of hours site attendance whilst on-call will be remunerated at a competitive rate.
Key to success within this role is being a results driven team player with a good work ethic and a keen willingness to learn.
You will be expected to support across the other the other two AD plants operated by the business covering holiday and sickness.
Working pattern, days, hours
The site opening hours are 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 to 13:00 on a Saturday.
Core office hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, with 1 hour for lunch.
The person on call out duty for the week works 09:00 to 17:00 but also covers Saturday 08:00-13:00.
