Job Overview
DP Technologies Ltd is looking for a friendly, confident and motivated Sales Assistant to join our mobile phone and repair retail shop. You will assist customers with mobile phones, accessories, repairs and other technology products while providing excellent customer service and supporting the daily operation of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and understand their requirements.
- Recommend suitable mobile phones, accessories, screen protectors and other technology products.
- Explain available repair services, prices and expected completion times.
- Book devices in for repair and accurately record customer and device information.
- Promote products, services and special offers to help achieve sales targets.
- Process cash and card payments accurately using the till system.
- Maintain attractive, clean and well-organised product displays.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock checks and deliveries.
- Respond professionally to customer enquiries in person, by telephone and through online platforms.
- Handle customer concerns politely and refer technical or complex matters to the appropriate team member.
- Protect customer information and follow the company’s data protection and security procedures.
- Support the opening, closing and general daily operation of the shop.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in retail, sales or customer service is preferred.
- An interest in mobile phones, accessories and technology is desirable.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Confident in recommending products and completing sales.
- Basic computer and till-system skills.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Able to remain organised and professional in a busy retail environment.
- Basic knowledge of mobile phone repairs would be an advantage, but training can be provided.
- Good written and spoken English.
