Our client, a well-established car dealership in Horsham, is currently recruiting for a dedicated PDI Technician to join their professional and friendly workshop team. - Competitive basic salary of £33,000 per annum, with performance-based bonuses
- Higher salary of £34,000 per annum for PDI technicians holding an MOT licence, plus earning potential through bonuses
- Up to £7,000 OTE annually, dependent on performance
- Standard working hours Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with a 30-minute lunch break
- Optional overtime paid at time and a half, with minimal weekend work typically in the mornings or evenings

Main duties include:
- Conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues using standard scanning tools (such as engine scans and EML lights)
- Completing pre-sale vehicle checks and preparing vehicles for sale
- Upselling additional repairs or servicing where appropriate
- Assisting with general workshop duties, including repairs and service support
- Ensuring work is completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
Requirements for the PDI Technician position:
- Proven experience in a similar PDI Technician role, ideally within a dealership or automotive workshop
- Strong technical skills in vehicle diagnosis and basic electronic systems
- Ability to perform PDI procedures accurately and identify potential faults
- MOT licence is desirable but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive work approach
- Motivated team player with good communication skills
- Enthusiastic about working in a professional yet friendly environment
