Patient Care Team Member – Full Time

We're looking for an experienced clinical team member who is a fully qualified Dental Nurse with current GDC registration to join our friendly, independent practice in North Kelvinside, just a short distance from Byres Road.

Working Hours
38.5 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
- Friday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
About the Role
This is a varied position combining clinical support with occasional front-of-house responsibilities. You'll play an important role in ensuring patients receive excellent care while helping the practice run smoothly each day.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing chairside support during a range of clinical procedures.
- Preparing surgeries and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, infection control and organisation.
- Assisting with instrument processing, decontamination and LDU procedures.
- Welcoming patients and creating a positive first impression.
- Supporting appointment scheduling and responding to patient enquiries when required.
- Assisting with stock control and the day-to-day organisation of the practice.
- Providing reception cover during annual leave and other planned absences.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Is a fully qualified Dental Nurse with current GDC registration.
- Has at least 2–3 years' experience working in a clinical dental environment.
- Takes pride in delivering outstanding patient care.
- Communicates confidently and professionally with patients and colleagues.
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
- Is organised, reliable and able to use their own initiative.
- Is happy to assist with reception duties when required.
- Experience assisting with oral surgery and dental implant procedures would be an advantage.
