Summary
We have had the opportunity to advertise for a second skilled 3.5T Driver to join our team at Millbrook Recovery in the UK. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring timely and safe vehicle recovery, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Operate recovery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Respond promptly to recovery requests
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report any issues
- Maintain accurate records of recoveries
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Assist with minor mechanical repairs as needed
You Will Need
- To be over the age of 25 for insurance purposes
- Hold a clean and valid driving licence
- Provide us with a DBS check
- Ability to take assigned vehicle home is essential
- Work 'on-call' or out of hours duties
- Have a flexible approach to working life, able to work extra hours where required
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably in vehicle recovery
- Strong mechanical knowledge is an advantage
- Experience with flatbed vehicles is a plus
- Be able to work through public holidays and weekends when needed
