Gardener
We are looking for a reliable Gardener / Grounds Maintenance Operative to join the team at a private property in the Maidenhead area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys garden maintenance, grounds maintenance, or landscaping who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining gardens and outdoor spaces to a high standard.
Every day is different, offering a varied and rewarding role within a friendly, long-term team.
This can either be a live in or live out role.
Key Responsibilities
To carry garden and grounds maintenance, including mowing, strimming, edging, hedge cutting, pruning, weeding and planting.
- Maintain lawns and drives.
- Help with the care for trees, shrubs, borders, and planted areas throughout the property.
- Operate gardening machinery and equipment, including ride-on mowers, strimmer’s, and hedge cutters. To include routine greasing and cleaning etc
- Keep pathways, driveways and other outdoor areas clean, tidy, and well maintained.
- Work closely with the wider property team to ensure the gardens and grounds are always presented to an exceptional standard.
About You
. You do not need to be a qualified Horticulturist
- Previous experience in garden maintenance, grounds maintenance, landscaping, gardening or a similar outdoor role.
- Confident using a range of gardening machinery and hand tools.
- Good practical knowledge of lawn care, hedge maintenance, pruning and general garden upkeep.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence is preferred.
