Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Driver/WarehouseOperative to join our team in the bustling city of London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse duties including stock management, loading and unloading, and have a full UK driving license.
Duties:
- Load and unload lorries with incoming and outgoing goods
- Organise and stock materials in designated warehouse locations
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes
- Build pallets for shipment according to specifications
- Handle heavy lifting tasks as required
- Cutting of cable (training provided)
- Delivering goods when necessary
Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge for operating warehouse equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently
- Experience in loading, unloading, and stocking procedures
- Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and materials handling processes
- Prior experience in a warehouse is advantageous but not necessary
