Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Conservatory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of conservatory roofs, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in glazing and conservatory installation to expand their skill set. The position is full time with a bonus scheme.
Duties
- Conduct inspections of leaking conservatory roofs and accurately identify and fix problems
- Repair and replace roofing, glazing, and frame components using appropriate materials and techniques
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and specialized equipment safely and effectively during projects
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to safety standards
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to health & safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience installing or repairing glazed or solid conservatory roofs.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and access equipment
- Knowledge of conservatory installation standards and technical details
- Knowledge of multiple conservatory manufacturers
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- A valid UK driving licence is desirable for site travel purposes
