Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner here at Madame Tussauds to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all public and staff areas.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors, surfaces, and fixtures within the attraction
- Clean and sanitise toilet areas, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively in accordance with COSHH
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues, damages or health & Safety concerns identified to management
- Support deep cleaning tasks and periodic cleaning schedules
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Organised with good time-management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated shifts
- Good attention to detail
Working hours: Includes early mornings, evenings. weekends & bank holidays
Pay: £13.00-£13.45 per hour
