Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hairdressing techniques and a flair for creativity. This role involves providing exceptional hair services while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for clients. You will play a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction through your skills and expertise.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality hair services, including cutting, colouring, and styling, tailored to individual client needs.
- Provide additional services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance the overall client experience.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitised.
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide professional advice on hair care products and styles.
- Upsell salon products and services to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Assist in front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
- Mentor junior stylists and trainees, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster their development.
- Contribute to the overall management of the store, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to salon policies.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role within a salon environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience in store management is an advantage but not essential.
- Skills in barbering techniques are desirable.
- A passion for the beauty industry with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
