Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our organisation. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our operations adhere to legal standards, internal policies, and quality assurance protocols. Duties
- Monitor and review organisational processes to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate adherence to quality assurance standards.
- Develop, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures in line with industry best practices.
- Investigate any instances of non-compliance or irregularities, preparing detailed reports for management review.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance requirements and quality assurance protocols.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies during inspections or audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities, audit findings, and corrective actions taken.
- Stay informed about changes in legislation or industry standards that may impact organisational operations.
Skills
- Strong understanding of legal frameworks and regulatory requirements relevant to the organisation’s sector.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple compliance projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in conducting quality assurance assessments and implementing continuous improvement strategies.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills to identify potential risks or deviations from standards.
- Effective communication skills, capable of delivering clear training sessions and reports.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience: Background in social care compliance, quality assurance, or as a care coordinator/field supervisor.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and the Mental Capacity Act.
- Skills: Good organisation, attention to detail, and a full UK driving licence for multi-site travel.
- Qualifications: A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care is often preferred. [1, 2, 3]
Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
