The Role
we are currently recruiting for a passionate and talented Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Westfield (White City).
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in daily operational tasks and decision-making processes
- Lead and supervise team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Assist in managing sales targets and implementing strategies to achieve business objectives
- Oversee merchandising activities to ensure attractive product displays and stock organisation
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing queries professionally and efficiently
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to promote professional development
- Manage administrative duties including scheduling, stock control, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Handle phone enquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of organisation within the store
Skills
- Proven management experience within retail or sales environments, with supervising responsibilities
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including multilingual or bilingual abilities as a plus
- Demonstrated organisational skills with effective time management capabilities
- Proficient in merchandising techniques and sales management strategies
- Sound administrative experience with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a professional phone manner
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced retail setting
- Experience in retail management or related fields is highly desirable
