We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Driver to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of reach trucks to facilitate the movement of goods and materials within the facility. This role is crucial in ensuring that our shipping and receiving processes run smoothly, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
Duties
- Operate reach trucks to load and unload materials from lorries and storage areas
- Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols during all operations
- Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, verifying the accuracy of shipments against documentation
- Conduct heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an organised and efficient warehouse environment
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is essential, with a strong understanding of materials handling processes
- Must hold a reach truck licence
