The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
- Deliver pre-set work and maintain classroom engagement
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Ensure students remain on task and follow school policies
- Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons
Requirements
- Previous experience working with young people or within a school setting is desirable
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Confidence leading a classroom environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to different schools and settings
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
