Wilson Associates are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient handling of materials within a n Engineering environment, ensuring that all operations run smoothly. Duties
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products and materials safely within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate shipping and receiving processes.
- Maintain an organised inventory using warehouse management systems to track materials and supplies.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correctly packed and labelled.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Chasing progress from process to process.
Experience
- Previous experience is essential, with a strong understanding of materials handling processes.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is highly desirable for tracking inventory effectively.
