MAX Automotive Group Ltd is expanding its mobile division and is looking for an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to provide professional servicing, diagnostics and repairs at customer locations across the West Midlands.
You'll be equipped with a fully stocked company van, modern diagnostic equipment and the support of our experienced workshop team, allowing you to deliver high-quality repairs directly at customers' homes, workplaces and fleet depots.
The Role
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you'll carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles while delivering outstanding customer service.
You'll enjoy working independently whilst having the full support of our workshop and service team.
Duties Include
- Vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
- Mechanical repairs
- Brake and suspension repairs
- Clutch replacements
- Engine diagnostics and fault finding
- Battery replacements and electrical repairs
- Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs)
- MOT preparation and repairs
- Attending customer homes, workplaces and fleet depots
- Completing digital job sheets and service records
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Working in Workshop when required
Essential Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years workshop experience
Full UK Driving Licence
Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently
Strong customer service skills
Good organisational and time management skills
Desirable
IMI Diagnostic Qualification
EV & Hybrid Qualification
Commercial vehicle experience
Manufacturer training
Experience in a mobile mechanic role
